Over time, the focus of membership in Christ’s Church has shifted from participating in God’s mission to our desire to receive. For many, the congregation is merely a spiritual health club which can be replaced or ignored, if the “club” fails to meet their expectations.
Unfortunately, some have bought into the idea their main mission is to serve the members and have failed to train people to become mature disciples.
We all have been so blessed by the grace given us through Christ. What would it be like if our vision became a reality in which “Every individual was boldly serving Christ”?
We invite you to begin your journey by following Hebrews 13:15, “Let us continually offer a sacrifice of praise to God.” Would you join us in P.R.A.I.S.E:
- Praying daily
- Reading the Bible
- Attending worship weekly
- Investing time, talents, and resources
- Serving at Christ the King and beyond
- Encouraging others in this journey through fellowship
