| Welcome to Our Toddler program |
The Toddler Room is for children ages 24 months to 3 years. We try to be sensitive to the children's interests by supplying a variety of materials and activities for children to do. Our activity centers include ares for manipulative toys, puzzles, props for imaginative play, art, blocks, play dough, and sand and water play. Our playground is well equipped for large muscles activities and adapts for imaginative games as well. Also, books and reading are a big part of everything we do.
We provide a fun schedule that we try to follow as closely as possible. On the other hand, we are as flexible as possible to the interests of the children.

Special Attention:
Potty training is a big developmental leap that your child may be ready for between the ages of 2 and 3 years old. Let us know what is happening at home, and we will support your efforts. Our potty training consists of hourly diaper checks/changes and trips to the toilet after the removal of a diaper.
Parents are required to provide:
- Your child's lunch. All lunch boxes should be clearly marked with your child's name on the outside. If you forget to bring your child's lunch, we will provide a lunch for the child for $5.00
Children's World Day Care will provide:
- A nap cot and clean sheet for nap time. Please provide a favorite blanket for nap time. We play soft music and rub backs to encourage sleep or rest time. We must provide a rest time for all children in care over four hours, per State regulations. If your child does not sleep the entire nap time, he or she will be offered a book or quiet activity until the other children awake.
- A cubby for your child's diapers, wipes, and extra changes of clothes. We will let you know when you are running low on supplies. Please remember to supply a jacket and a hat for your little one, as we like to play outside and go for stroller rides. Please label all of your child's belongings, including your diaper bag.
- A mailbox for each child on the front of the classroom door where we place important papers for you to read and art work that your child has done.
