DIRECTIONS DURING ROAD CONSTRUCTION: (2 ways)
1.
Drive north on Main Avenue to 32nd Street and turn right. Go about 1
mile and turn right on Holly Avenue. Turn right onto Florida Road and
the church is about 1 mile and immediately after the roundabout.
2.
Coming from the south: Take Colorado Route 3 or College Drive to
Goeglein Gulch Road. It will wind around and take you to Florida Road
where you will turn left. The church is about 1 1/2 miles down Florida
Road.
AND - The Entrance to the Parking Lot has Changed!
The area in front of the church is completely blocked off so you will
need to drive by the church and turn on the road to the trailer park.
Make another right in front of the Hub to get back to our parking lot.
In a week (or two) our driveway and sidewalk should be complete and we
can look forward to using another new and different entrance.

SNAC (Saturday Night After Church)
September 4: Share your favorite BBQ dish with your CtK Family immediately following the Service. Partake of this food and nourishment, and enjoy inspired discussion of our current scriptures and sermons, that give us spiritual nourishment each day.
September 11: Join us in the chapel after worship for the Healing Service lead by Pastor John: then explore the Christian practice of praying with the elements- water, wind, earth and fire. God has always revealed Himself in his creation-will begin with the element of water, which is associated with the coming season of autumn. “Deep peace of the running wave to you!”
1st Week: 6PM Potluck and discussion of scriptures/sermons from prior month
2nd Week: 6PM Healing Service followed by meditation/prayer gathering
3rd Week: 6PM Game/Movie Night- bring a brown bag dinner/snacks
4th Week: Service Project before Church (times will vary)
5th Week: Friendship Night - build friendships (over a brown bag dinner/snacks)

An ecumenical gathering of Christian men, Durango Men’s Ministry, will be meeting each first Wednesday of the month at the DoubleTree at 6:00 am.

New Member Class!
Saturday, Sept. 11th at 2 pm in the Welcome Center! Pastor John will be leading this class for all those interested in learning more about CtK or those who would like to join our congregation. All are welcome!
First Communion Class!
Saturday, Sept. 18th at 2 pm in Pastor John's office! Are you in third grade or older and haven't had your First Communion yet? Pastor John will be teaching a class that (with your parent's permission) will enable you to have your First Communion.

Christian Education
Rally Day is coming! Sept 12th we celebrate together as a church, gathering in the sanctuary with all ages at 9:15. There will be songs and a skit and Sunday School sign-ups and ice cream. Join us!
Our new Music/Christian Education program will kick off with classes beginning Sept 19th. We will have Bibles for students who don’t have them, to be given out the 12th during the Sunday Services. Kids who already have Spark Bibles are encouraged to bring them starting the 12th for a blessing, and every Sunday from then on to learn from God’s Word.

Altar Guild will be meeting on Sunday the 12th at 9:15am.
