Altar Guild

The ministry is to prepare for the serving of communion at all three services. It includes the Bread Bakers; communion set up and  clean up; and laundering of the linens.  Altar Guild changes the Banners for the seasons of the church.  It is a group ministry enabling members to attend to tasks that they do best.

Acolyte

These young members assist during worship services by lighting candles before the service, extinguishing candles after the service, receiving the offering and assisting with communion.

Ushers

Our ushers assist at each worship service with handing out bulletins before the service, collecting the offering, directing the congregation to communion, and counting the number of people present at each service.

Worship Assistants

These volunteers read the first and second Scripture readings, some of the prayers during the service and assist  with with communion.

Provide Flowers

Would you like to give flowers in honor of a loved one or for a special occasion like a wedding, anniversary, or birthday? Call the church office at 970.247.5310 for more information.

Soundboard Assistant

Soundboard Assistants work with the Worship and Music programs and provide quality sound and volume  throughout the church. Soundboard assistants work with the Worship and Music programs to provide quality sound and volume throughout the church for each service. Soundboard assistants occasionally attend weekly music practices.

Greeters

Greeters welcome guests and members at the church entrance. Greeters ask visitors to sign our guest book, fill out a name tag, introduce visitors during the service and invite them to stay for fellowship where they will have the chance to meet and get to know members of the CtK family.

Fellowship

These volunteers prepare coffee, juice, and their favorite snack items to be served after a worship service of their choice. Gathering after worship is a great way to meet other CtK members and to welcome visitors.
